As President, I get invited to many functions over the course of the year and here are just a few that I attended over the past couple of months:

Society for the Environment Reception held in Pall Mall, London on 26 June - introduced to the new Chief Executive for the Society, Alex Galloway who is an old friend of the Institute as he received our application for Royal Charter at the Privy Council in 2005.

A chance to meet the new President of the Landscape Institute at their event on 28 June.

The Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) invited myself and the Chief Executive to their dinner held in Warwick - the opportunity to extend our working relationship with this and other Institutes present.
